Dr. Rashed Al Sahel received his MA from Eastern New Mexico University, USA in 1983 (in the field of Educational Psychology) and received his PhD. from University of Wales (Bangor), UK in 1989 (in the field of counseling Psychology). The first time he held an administrative position was head of the Educational Psychology Department in 1998 at Kuwait University. Then, he served as Dean of the College of Education at Kuwait University in 2003. He became a professor at Kuwait University in 2006. He became a professional therapist when he got a license in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from Beck Institute in 2003, USA. Currently, since 2020, he holds the position of Head of the Department of Educational Psychology for the second time at the College of Education, Kuwait University.
