Dr. Bengi Sonyel received her PhD at the University of Nottingham in Teacher Education and M.A in Professional Studies in Education at the University of Leicester. Research areas are Pedagogical Training, In-Service Training, Curriculum Instruction and Development, Leadership, Educational Administration, Educational Management, Interpersonal Skills, Student Development, Educational Technology and Continuing Professional Development. Currently works as an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education. She has published research articles, book, book chapters related to reflective practice, lifelong learning, and teacher education. In 2021-2022 Spring Semester she was awarded by the rector of the Eastern Mediterranean University for the supervision of the senior retired primary teacher who graduated from the PhD program Curriculum Instruction and Teaching.
